These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Rayan Isa, doing business as Glow ("Glow," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the Glow mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Glow uses artificial intelligence to analyze a selfie and provide cosmetic, educational observations about the visible appearance of your skin, along with personalized skincare suggestions and tracking. Glow is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not detect, diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical or dermatological advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the Service.
Certain features are powered by artificial intelligence provided through third-party providers (including Anthropic). Your inputs (such as your selfie and onboarding answers) are processed by these providers to deliver the feature, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for general, cosmetic, informational purposes only. You are responsible for how you use any output.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not available to anyone under 13.
You may begin using the Service with an anonymous session and later create a permanent account using Sign in with Apple or your email. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your access credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use.
"User Content" means the photos (including selfies), text, product names, and other information you submit to the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to perform your skin analysis and build your routine), in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. Do not upload images of other people without their consent, or any content you do not have the right to submit. We do not host a public feed of User Content; selfies are processed privately and deleted after analysis unless you opt into progress tracking.
You agree not to: misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; reverse engineer or scrape it except as permitted by law; use it for any unlawful purpose; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or attempt to circumvent usage limits, security, or billing.
The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Glow and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
The Service relies on third parties (including Apple, Anthropic, Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, and Sentry). Your use may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output (including AI-generated cosmetic observations) is accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glow and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glow and its owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Except for small-claims matters and claims for injunctive relief regarding intellectual property, you and Glow agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis.
Class action waiver: You and Glow agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing isarayan477@gmail.com with your name and a statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except that the arbitration agreement in Section 13 is governed by applicable arbitration law. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licenses you granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and arbitration) survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is indicated by the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
